Events

Events in Wateridge are organized by a variety of different groups including the Wateridge Village Community Association, Canada Lands Company, Veterans’ House Canada, and occasionally others.

Some events are one-offs, others are annual events.

We are grateful to have Canada Lands Company developing our neighbourhood and hosting so many amazing events – many annually.

Additionally, every November 11th, Veterans’ House puts on a wonderful, unique Remembrance Day ceremony.

Below you will find posts for as many as we can so you can track what is going on. The WVCA will do our best to promote all formal public events in Wateridge regardless of who the organizer is.

Wateridge Dentist Block Party

Event Host: Wateridge Dentist

Date and Time: Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Location: Eugène Martineau Park

We are excited to host a community event to get to know all our neighbors! Come out and meet our team, have some pizza, and enjoy a fun afternoon for everyone in the family. With games, bounce houses, balloons and prizes. You do not want to miss out. SAVE THE DATE!

Ward 13 Wildlife Webinar

The City of Ottawa’s new Wildlife Resource Coordinator, Dom Ferland, is on a quest to resolve and prevent human-wildlife conflicts and promote the incredible biodiversity of our city. Rideau-Rockcliffe residents are invited to meet Dom, learn about his new role and better understand how to co-exist with wildlife in our urban ward. My Ward 13 Wildlife Webinar takes place May 22 from 6:30 to 8 pm. Please join us!

Wateridge Village Community Safety Meeting

Event Host: Councillor King, in partnership with the Ottawa Police Service and Bylaw and Regulatory Services

Date and Time: Monday, May 26, 2025 5:30 PM until 7:30 pm

Location: Alliance Park

Councillor King, in partnership with the Ottawa Police Service and Bylaw and Regulatory Services, is hosting a community safety meeting for Wateridge Village residents on May 26, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Alliance Park at 392 Codd’s Road. The rain date is June 2.
